Dear Members,
Thank you to all of you who were able to join us last week and help make our 4th Anniversary party a huge success. Around 1,000 of you helped us to celebrate and with the many great comments that both myself and the team here have been receiving though-out the past week, we are already looking to next year’s party to gain some early inspiration!
The club will continue to be very busy through-out May and June, with lots of interesting events scheduled. The business speaker programs this month will include a business luncheon forum on Thursday, May 10th with Mr. Steen Jakobsen, Chief Economist of Saxo Bank. Our Regional Outlook series will feature Iraq this month – From Occupation to Spring? on Monday, 28thMay. And, as we have found that the educational and coaching seminars continue to be very popular, we have scheduled two in the month of May.
More social events include the monthly wine tasting on Monday, 21st May. We will be featuring the wines of New Zealand and as usual, a three course prix-fixe dinner will follow the tasting, showcasing a delicious selection of New Zealand seafood. We will begin some fun evenings featuring regional foods as well, kicking off with an Indian Street Food Festival on Wednesday, 16th May. And bring the kids on Friday the 18th for a family brunch and bazaar. An exciting and educational Children’s cooking class will also be hosted to keep children entertained. Finally, on Sunday, 27th May we will continue our Health and Wellness program, combining a talk and dinner featuring foods from the now famous Paleo diet. And, with Ramadan just around the corner, for those of you who are starting to think about your group Iftar bookings, we will be offering a 25% reduction on group Iftar packages booked/confirmed in the month of May. Contact events@capitalclubdubai.com for more information.
We are continuing to build relationships with beach and golf clubs to enhance the value of membership for our Members. We have secured a preferred access rate of AED 150 for day-usage at the Pavillion Beach Club at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Stay tuned for additional partnerships and shared events with other clubs.
